Research interests:
• Organic reagents and their complexes
immobilized by adsorption on
the surface of high-dispersed silica
• Chemistry of the interface:
"modifying agent solution/silica surface" and
"metal salt solution/modifying agent immobilized on silica"
• Analytical and complexing properties of
the solid-phase reagents
as a function of the sorbent surface properties, the nature of the modifier and the mechanism of its
fixing on the surface
•
Development
of the hyphenated spectroscopic methods using:
- molecular spectroscopy technique,
- luminescent and chemiluminescent technique,
- AAS and ETAAS-spectroscopy (solid-phase ETAAS in particular),
- kinetics methods,
- gel-penetration chromatography,
- electrochemical technique.
and new solid-phase reagents for:
- speciation of heavy metals and biometals in natural waters,
-
rapid and simple (including visual-test) determination of various toxicants (heavy metal ions and
some organic compounds), antioxidants and bioactive elements in the environmental objects
(water, soil, etc.), biological liquids, food, medical, etc.
